Programmes and Impact
Building capability. Creating opportunity. Measuring impact.
Every programme delivered by RANT Academy is designed to strengthen education, improve employability, support enterprise and generate evidence that informs future practice.
Rather than delivering isolated projects, we develop long-term partnerships that connect education, employers, communities and government to create sustainable pathways into work, enterprise and lifelong learning.

2. The challenge
Skills without pathways.
Across Ghana, many technically skilled students complete their education without developing the professional, entrepreneurial and employability skills required by today's labour market.
Employers consistently report that graduates often lack workplace behaviours, communication skills and practical experience, while education providers seek stronger connections with industry.
Governments continue investing in technical education while seeking stronger evidence of which interventions improve employment outcomes.
RANT Academy was invited to help bridge these gaps by designing an integrated employability ecosystem rather than delivering another short-term training programme.
“We want to make the teaching and learning of entrepreneurship very practical. That is why the RANT School Enterprise Project is being rolled out.”
3. Our response
One connected model, not another training course.
RANT Academy developed a regional programme that combines employability education, entrepreneurship, employer engagement, institutional development and digital innovation into one connected model. The programme works simultaneously with:
Students
developing capability, confidence and professional identity.
Teachers
strengthening capacity in enterprise education.
Institutions
improving curriculum and delivery structures.
Employers
creating pathways between education and employment.
Government
generating evidence to inform future policy and investment.
“Your success in implementing what you've learned here will determine how far this programme goes. The Director General is watching closely, and your results will shape the next phase of this initiative.”
The launch - Tru Vine Hotel, Kumasi
Where it all came together.
The programme launched at the Tru Vine Hotel, Kumasi, bringing together TVET schools, business leaders, employers and the local and regional TVET Directorate. The event showcased school enterprise clubs, the progression and development of participating schools, and the official launch of RANT Passport - our digital employability platform.

The evidence generated informs programme improvement, partner reporting and future policy development.
8. Lessons we are learning
Every programme teaches us something.
Every programme contributes to RANT Academy's understanding of what creates successful pathways from education into employment and enterprise. Current learning includes:
- 1Enterprise education is most effective when students build real businesses rather than complete classroom exercises.
- 2Teachers benefit most from continuous mentoring alongside formal training.
- 3Employer engagement is strongest when it is structured and sustained.
- 4Digital evidence through RANT Passport increases student confidence and provides employers with richer information than certificates alone.
- 5Measuring behaviour change is as important as measuring knowledge acquisition.
These lessons directly influence future programme design and delivery.
